My Farrell's journey actually started when I was 16 years old. My dance studio just closed and I was looking for a way to stay active while still in school since I didn't play any sports. I joined my friend and her mom in my first 10 Week Challenge at the Altoona, IA studio and was there for about 2 years. After college I moved to Minneapolis and stayed active during quarantine doing some home workouts, but I was ready for a change. I decided to re-join Farrells for the 10 Week Challenge at the NoLo studio and fell in love with kickboxing and strength training all over again.
One day I remember being in class and was trying to decide what my next goal would be. I knew I wanted to be an instructor. Soon after my 10 week challenge was over I brought up the idea of being an instructor to the managers. They were more than happy to welcome me to the team. I have been loving the new challenge of being an instructor and helping others achieve their fitness goals.
When I'm not at the gym I am normally hanging out with friends at a brewery, watching football, traveling somewhere on the weekends, or attending concerts. I also love to cook for my friends and experiment with healthy recipes in the kitchen.
Can't wait to see you on the mats soon!
