Every day, my goal is to make a difference in somebodys life. Whether its a great workout, an inspiring word, or a gentle reminder that were all capable of so much more than what we believe, I just want to spread a little more love and positivity in the world. And health and fitness is the channel in which I get to accomplish all of those things. See you on the mats, living life at a level 10, being a force of awesome, and doing epic stuff!

The thing I love the most about Farrell's compared with other gyms I've gone to in the past is that we are truly a fitness community. Fitness is something I am incredibly passionate about, and I feel very fortunate to be able to help others throughout their journey! I love that the workouts are really designed to work for everyone, regardless of their fitness level. The only thing more rewarding than seeing members reach new goals, big or small, is seeing them push each other to reach their level 10!

Farrell’s isn’t just your normal gym – it is also a community, which made me want to become an instructor. Everyone is so supportive & encouraging of each other, regardless of where you are at in your fitness journey. Yes, I go to get my exercise in, but the people are what makes me come back. It makes the workout seem like you’re in it together to push each other to your limits & reach new milestones (and make friends along the way!).

Kickboxing and strength training have become a staple in my life, and I have experienced many changes to my muscle development and physique, cardiovascular health, overall energy level, and stress management since. As an instructor, I strive to bring a cheerful energy and can-do attitude to each class, just as Farrell's has given me. It's amazing to see members reach their goals, and I hope to be a source of guidance and support in that process. See you on the mats!

I joined Farrell's following the new year in 2021. At the end of the challenge I found that the greatest thing I gained was not the health improvements I accomplished (though I was very happy with those), but rather I had finally found a gym that had me excited and happy to go each morning. Now I am excited to be able to be one of the instructors that helped me to find my gym family, and hope to help welcome in others as they look for a gym that inspires them the same way Farrell's inspired me!

My Farrell’s journey started in 2022 after a friend asked me to join him in an “accountabilibuddy” challenge. Prior to walking through the Farrell’s front door, I had neither kickboxing nor weight training experience. That first class was the beginning of a journey to a healthier lifestyle. I’m excited to be on the mic and to help others in their personal fitness journey.

A year after I started kickboxing I lost almost 100 pounds. I had not only added in exercise but changed my lifestyle to be fully fitness consciouspaying attention to what I am putting into my body to help fuel my body. I started instructing classes and 4 years later I am able to spread my passion for health and fitness as well as continue to challenge myself physically by doing triathlons, half marathons, and eventually full marathons.

Sharing my story and helping others to achieve their goals, celebrate successes and live a healthy life is the most fulfilling job I’ve ever had! It’s because of Farrell’s workouts, community and guidance that I can say that I’m working on a nutrition certification, and have made a pivot (insert kickboxing pun here) in my career to pursue fitness full time. I honestly cannot put into words, just how lucky I feel to have been given this opportunity!

In 2018, I got a debilitating concussion from a weird accident that completely changed my life. I once again had to develop a new relationship with my body. Becoming an instructor had been a secret dream of mine since before my concussion. It took me some time to get there, but I was finally able to reach for that dream in early 2022. I have LOVED helping to building our Farrell's community as we cheer each other on to step into our most powerful selves and reach for the life we've been yearning for.

I wanted to become an instructor for those people out there who are like me: people who want to get healthy by making lifestyle changes that are sustainable and enjoyable. Getting healthy shouldn’t be a miserable experience full of deprivation and tedium. It should be fun, balanced, and long-lasting! I strive to be relatable and approachable; chances are if you’re struggling with something along your fitness journey, I probably have too.

My Farrell’s journey started in 2022. I popped in for an intro class and fell in love. Being active is a big part of my life, but I struggled to stay interested in the gyms that I tried out. What got me hooked onto Farrell’s was the diversity in the class plans and the positive encouragement. Now, I get to be on the other side cheering on members on the mic! Life can be stressful, and between the satisfying workouts and community engagement at Farrell’s, I can’t imagine getting through the week without my FitFam! Hope to see you on the mats soon!!
