I started out at Farrells after years of trying to workout on my own and failing to do so effectively. I was a collegiate athlete and was used to working out with teammates and using them as support. When I found Farrells, I was reminded how important a strong community with a common goal was to me. I love the camaraderie and friendships and I truly look forward to working out every day because of that.
When I started, I was shy, quiet and just sort of finding my way. After being with Farrells for 3 years now, I feel more confident, healthy (mentally, physically and emotionally) and energetic. I have lost 15lbs and 10% body fat while doing various challenges and learned so much about how to make that sustainable. Getting nutrition guidance was a lightbulb moment for me that I have been missing my whole life. But what has made these results possible are the incredible instructors and amazing classmates that have pushed me through and motivated me to do better. Farrells is much more than a gym to me, it really is a community. I became an instructor because I want to share that with as many people as possible.
